About

Yuan Lab is part of the College of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Emergency Management. We work at the intersection of computer vision, AI, and geophysics.

Our research spans three areas — intelligent processing of electromagnetic satellite data, video-based seismology and intelligent earthquake monitoring, and industrial vision inspection. The lab has carried out projects commissioned by the Ministry of Emergency Management, the Institute of Geophysics (CEA), the National Space Science Center of CAS, and others, with results published in journals including JGR: Space Physics, IEEE TIM, and Remote Sensing.

We value reproducibility and open science: open-sourced projects will gradually release code and datasets on Gitee with reproduction guides on this site. Students interested in computer vision, deep learning, and geophysical applications are welcome to join.
